Reference > Worklists

Worklists are screens within the system which provide interactivity. Unlike reports, which are just static displays of text, worklists organize various types of system data and allow the user to perform tasks. There are a large number of worklists in CISPro Global.

Most of the worklists in CISPro Global belong to a specific workflow or task. Users must have appropriate permissions to use most of these worklists. Visibility to worklist data is subject to Inventory Group access restrictions.

Material Worklists

To access these worklists from the Home Page, click the Materials link, then click the Material link and select Worklists from the drop down menu. The following options will be presented:

My Inventory: Displays Barcode ID Label, Name, Quantity, Size, Expiration Date, and Location Full Name for all containers that belong to the logged in user. The user can click the Barcode ID Label link to view the details for any container. Missing containers are displayed in red text.

Transfer/Dispose Inventory: Allows the user to dispose of some/all of their containers. Admins can transfer containers from one user to another, or move containers (moving does not change container ownership). The locations to which containers can be transferred is partially dependent upon the receive_depth configuration variable. Container access (and visibility) is restricted by Inventory group rights. Missing containers are displayed in red text.

(See the Permissions table for rules regarding use of this worklist.)

With Project Ownership Module: If the Project Ownership module is enabled, containers can also be transferred between projects.

Missing Containers at Site: Displays the Missing Container Worklist, which lists all containers marked missing as a result of Reconciliation operations. Using this worklist, users can mark missing containers as either 'Found' (to clear their missing flags) or 'Dispose' (to delete them).

Above Maximum Inventory: Displays materials that have an available quantity at a particular location which is at or greater than the Maximum Inventory Level set for that material for that location.

Review Material Status: Displays materials which are of a specified Material Review Status ("scope" on the Identity tab in Materials View).

Review Material MSDS: (Available MSDS for Region, Missing MSDS for Region) The Available MSDS for Region worklist lists materials of any scope that have associated MSDS documents for the region of the logged-on user's site.  The Missing MSDS worklist shows materials without associated MSDS files that: (1) have scope Global, or (2) have scope Local and have at least one container.

Additional Worklists

There are several other worklists that can be viewed from the home page directly, or by clicking the CISPro logo and selecting the View Inventory menu item:

Expired Containers: Shows all on-site containers that are expired and owned by the logged in user. The user can also click the Expired link on the Home Page to see expired containers.

Note: If the Project Ownership module is in use, this worklist consists of all expired containers that are owned by the logged in user and assigned to projects to which the user is assigned.

Containers By Location:  Displays information for all containers within a location selected on the location tree. Users can print labels for a displayed location, selecting individual containers to print or clicking the 'check all' option to select all containers. Containers marked 'Missing' (expected but not scanned during a reconciliation, for example) are displayed in red.

Below Minimum Inventory: Displays materials whose available quantities have sunk to or below the minimum levels set by the user for particular locations.
