Configuration > Reports In CISPro Global, Reports are pages of data that are generated on the server and then sent to the user's browser. Reports are static representations of the data. This means they are a snapshot of the data at the time the report is generated. They do not contain links or buttons to change the data or the view. Because reports are static pages, they can (in most cases) be distributed to others for review without requiring access to the application. Report Types There are three types of reports in CISPro Global: Dynamic, Static, and Email Reports. Dynamic Reports can be configured by anyone with reports permissions, via a web browser. They offer a simple way for any user to create reports for one-time or repeated use, with the option of testing reports as they are changed. Static Reports require an administrator to design a custom layout and query configuration. They provide more advanced layout control using SQP and FR3 files, but are more complicated to configure. Email Reports can be sent automatically to users on a schedule that the designer chooses. They can be either Login-Required reports, in which case the recipient is sent a link, or No-Login-Required, in which case the recipient gets the actual report in the email message.
