Configuration > Users > Creating a New User

Although users can edit some aspects of their own profiles (contact information, viewing preferences, etc.) by clicking the Preferences  link on the Home Page, the settings that control a user's permissions and access to specific CISPro Global functionality can be changed only by a Global or Site Administrator.

Create a New User Account

1.On the System Configuration page, click the Users link
2.On the main menu, select User > New User
3.Specify all required user details: Username, Password (and Confirm Password), First Name, Last Name, Role, and Site
4.Specify optional user details as needed
5.Click Save to create the user account and refresh the page to show additional settings
6.Change the user's Home Inventory Group and Default Location if necessary

*Default Location can be any location within the user's Home Inventory Group.

7.Click Save to update the user account
