Configuration > Users > Creating a New User
Although users can edit some aspects of their own profiles (contact information, viewing preferences, etc.) by clicking the Preferences link on the Home Page, the settings that control a user's permissions and access to specific CISPro Global functionality can be changed only by a Global or Site Administrator.
1. | On the System Configuration page, click the Users link |
2. | On the main menu, select User > New User |
3. | Specify all required user details: Username, Password (and Confirm Password), First Name, Last Name, Role, and Site |
4. | Specify optional user details as needed |
5. | Click Save to create the user account and refresh the page to show additional settings |
6. | Change the user's Home Inventory Group and Default Location if necessary |
*Default Location can be any location within the user's Home Inventory Group.
7. | Click Save to update the user account
