Configuration > Safety Resources Global Administration Function
Safety Resources are references used to acquire and confirm safety assessment information. The system can be configured with any number of Safety Resources, which can then be assigned to a material on the Identity tab.
To Configure Safety Resources: 1) Log in as a global admin (a user with a role which has All System Config Permission) 2) Click the System Configuration link 3) Click the Safety Resources link
Creating a new Safety Resource: 1) Click on the Safety Resource link at the top of the screen to display a pull-down menu 2) Click New Safety Resource
Note that the Safety Resource ID field reports (new), meaning that a new record is being created.
3) Enter a Safety Resource Name (required) 4) Click Save
You may repeat this process to create additional Safety Resources.
Editing an existing Safety Resource: 1) Click on the Safety Resource name you wish to edit from the list at the left edge of the screen 2) Edit the field 3) Click Save
Deleting a Safety Resource: Note that if the Safety Resource is currently assigned to a material, it can not be deleted (an error will display informing the user of this). 1) Click on the Safety Resource name you wish to delete from the list at the left edge of the screen 2) Click on the Safety Resource link at the top of the screen to display a pull-down menu 3) Click Delete This Safety Resource 4) Click Yes at the Confirmation prompt
