CISPro Global supports the use of electronic balances for net weights on containers in the following workflows:

 

Receiving new containers

Dispensing by container

 

Balance integration is provided by a ChemSW-developed ActiveX control, which is only supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer browser versions 4.1 or higher. The ActiveX control is auto-installing (assuming the browser is configured to allow installation of code-signed ActiveX controls).

Balance Configuration

The control panel for an electronic balance can be viewed on the Container Dispense page from a computer that is connected to the balance.

1.View the Container Edit page (i.e., click any container barcode link)
2.Click Dispense
3.With the Container Dispense page open, add &config=1 to the URL in the browser address bar

Example: Change the URL from http://cisproserver/container_dispense.asp?containerid=51766
to http://cisproserver/container_dispense.asp?containerid=51766&config=1

4.Press Enter to reload the page with the Balance Control Panel displayed at the bottom
5.Modify balance settings* as needed, then click Save Settings

*The command character for Mettler balances is S (upper case s).
