Disposing of Waste Containers

Waste disposal can consist of disposing of a container's contents and resetting the container for further use, or disposing of the container and its contents at once.*

1.	On the Waste Container Information page, click the No. Dispose Now button

2.	Select a Disposal Vendor (leave at None if no vendor is to be specified)

3.	Type disposal-related comments into the Manifest Information text box if applicable

4.	Dispose in one of the following ways:

Click Reset Container to dispose of contents only, emptying the container and making it available for further use

Click Dispose Container and confirm when prompted to dispose of container and contents, in which case the container can no longer be used for waste

No Undispose Unlike other material types, containers of waste can not be undisposed, regardless of whether the container_undeletes configuration variable is on.

*Waste containers can also be disposed (but not reset) with a handheld scanner. See Handheld Data Collection.
