Configuration > Users > Bulk User Creation > Creating Multiple Users at Once
The Bulk User Add feature is accessed via a link on the User Configuration page.
| 1. | On the System Configuration page, click the Users link |
| 2. | Click the Bulk User Add link at the bottom of the User Configuration page |
| 3. | Type each user name, last name, and first name on its own line in the Users to Add text box in Username|Lastname|Firstname format* |
Example: JWoolner|Woolner|Jill
| 4. | Type the temporary password that will be given to the new users (the default is temp1234) |
| 5. | Select the role, site, and other settings that are to be assigned to the new users |
| 6. | Click the Add New Users button |
*Note that only the user name is required for creating new users. If the last name is not specified, it is set to the same as user name, and if the first name is not specified, it is set to user (e.g., if only Jwoolner is entered in the Users to Add text box, both the user name and the user's last name will be set to JWoolner, and the user's first name will be set to user).
