Reference > Container Family Genealogy
The container family page displays in tree structure the relationship between a container and its parent and child containers. This view is useful for seeing both the origin of a child container, and dispenses from a container. It also allows a user to navigate between related containers and edit them as needed.
To View the Container Family Page
| 1. | Click a container barcode on the material Containers tab |
| 2. | On the Container Information page, click View Container Family |
The Container Family page displays the details for the container that's selected in the tree. Users can perform the following tasks on this page:
| • | To view a container's detail, click the container's barcode ID link in the tree |
| • | To edit the container that's displayed, click its Edit Container link |
| • | To see a container's history, click its View History link |
