Reference > Batch Operations Most actions that users perform in CISPro Global are effective immediately, but there are some operations (handheld data collection, for example) that are queued in a list of pending operations. These are called Batch Operations. In CISPro Global, the program component responsible for carrying out batch operations is the CAFAgent (CAF = ChemSW Application Framework), a separate service that is designed to perform such processing. CAFAgent can be stopped and started by your system administrator, but it must be started (i.e., running) in order to process batch operations. You can view the list of batch operations on the View Batch Operations page. Batches can be filtered to Me (your own batches), Users at My Site (requires System_Site permission), or Users at All Sites (requires System permission). The state of each batch is either Pending or Complete. Review Batch Operations
