CISPro Global will print barcode identity labels for containers, samples, retains, locations, or users. To print labels the system must be configured to provide label definitions for several different application operations.  When the user performs an operation in CISPro Global that allows label printing, the user will be presented with a list of possible label formats for their Work Unit. Label formats can contain a "free text" field for user comments. If the user is presented with this text entry field, they can type data into the box and it will print on the labels at that time (but it is not saved).

Here is an example of reprinting a single container label from the Container Information screen:

1) The user clicks the Reprint Label link

2) The user is taken to the Print Label screen, where they can choose a label format from the dropdown list

3) When the user clicks the Print button, they get a printer dialog so they can choose the output printer:

Note that this label printing mechanism requires use of the Windows Generic Text drivers and Label Printers that understand the label template being used by this label definition. Currently, all labels are written in EPL (Eltron Programming Language) format.
