Scanned barcode is not entered on screen
If the focus is somewhere other than on a data field (on the data grid, for example), the barcode can be read but not inserted. Tap with the stylus on the appropriate data field and scan the barcode again.

User barcode (or Location barcode) is input to the container barcode field
There is no validation of container barcodes, so when a User or Location barcode (one that begins LS or U) is not relevant to the operation, it is accepted as a container barcode.

For example, on a MOVE operation, if the focus is on the barcode field, a location barcode (e.g., LS229) will be submitted to the Location field rather than accepted as the (container) barcode value. But on the same MOVE operation, where a User ID is not relevant, a User barcode (e.g., U7901) is accepted as the value of the container barcode.

Enter key is required after each barcode is scanned
The scanner is not programmed to send an Enter key after each barcode is scanned. The handheld device may have been accidentally reset. See Barcode Scanner Configuration for help on configuring the scanner.

CISProMobile is not installed on the handheld device
If CISProMobile is not available in the Windows programs menu list, it may have been accidentally deleted. In such a case, it can be reinstalled on the desktop computer and then installed on the handheld via syncing. See Install CISProMobile on Windows CE or Install CISProMobile on Windows Mobile, depending on which version of Windows you are running.

No response from ActiveSync after connecting device
If ActiveSync does not respond when the handheld device is connected to the desktop (either during installation or after installation is complete), verify that the connection settings are correct (see ActiveSync Installation). If settings are correct, but there is still no response from ActiveSync when the handheld device is connected, it may help to clear the connection settings and then set them again.
