In CISProMobile, data entry is performed by scanning barcodes into the appropriate fields. The application prompts the user for the relevant barcode type, such as Location or User. When the application doesn't specify a barcode type, a container barcode is expected.

The field into which the barcode is entered is determined according to the barcode's prefix (LS for locations, U for users, etc.)

Barcodes with prefixes are submitted to the appropriate field if the prefix type is necessary to the operation. Otherwise, they are accepted as the value of the selected field (see Troubleshooting for more help with common barcode scanning problems).
