Workflows > Package Approval Module The Package Approval module enables administrators to restrict receipt of inventory to packages that are approved for receipt. An accompanying permission (pkg_approval) can be granted to a role, allowing users belonging to the role to approve packages. While this module is in use, system behavior changes as follows: Only approved packages can be received. Every package has either: An Approved for Receipt check box (if user has pkg_approval permission) An Approved for Receipt value of Yes/No (if user does not have pkg_approval permission) An Unapproved Packages worklist, available from the home page and the main menu, allows users to find unapproved packages and approve them, at which point they are dropped from the worklist.
