Assigning GHS Signal Words to Materials

The Signal Word assigned to a material indicates the relative level of severity of the hazards associated  with the material at the site. The Assign GHS Signal Words page displays a separate list of all available signal words for every site.

Select GHS Signal Words for a Material

1.Select the material's Hazards tab
2.Click the GHS Signal Words link
3.For each site being assigned a signal word, select a signal word from the list
4.Click Save
